Early May our team had the chance to head out to San Francisco for Event Marketer’s Experiential Marketing Summit (EMS). EMS is a three day conference and expo that brings together over 1,500 experiential marketers from all around the world.

EMS partnered with SpinGo to run ticketing and registration. We also had a booth onsite where we were able to connect with event profs.

Because we already had an in at the event, we were able to partake in workshops, innovation labs and exclusive sessions from speakers such as marketers from Airbnb, Swedish Fish, Uber, and much more.

Here are the best highlights from our trip!

San Francisco

Fortunately our trip to San Francisco wasn’t all work!

We were lucky enough to get to stay at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, a gorgeous hotel located in the middle of the city.

With stunning views and city life all around us, we were able to explore when we had some time. Here is a look at some of our team excursions including Fisherman’s Warf and Pier 39.

SpinGo On The Job

SpinGo was able to provide badging, registration and ticketing solutions for EMS this year.

We received positive feedback from attendees regarding the seamless check in process and in addition we saw a lot of excitement around Event Master as a whole.

Watching the platform work in real time helped us see exactly how to emanate a positive attendee experience.

As a result of demoing Event Master to attendees, we were able to find out what needs are most critical to event profs rights in today’s event industry.

Experiential Booths

It was no secret that exhibitors at EMS brought their A game. The creativity of the booths was amazing.

Almost every booth went beyond a captivating look and also provided interactive activities.

We stopped by a 360 photo booth, a virtual reality video maker, and even a cabin-themed booth with free coffee cups inside.

What We Learned

As first time EMS goers, we really enjoyed being able to connect with our target audience.

Being able to show event profs firsthand how Event Master transforms event was very useful.

As a team we’re always trying to stay on the edge of innovation and EMS gave us a lot of insights to consider moving forward with our event solutions.
